Max is back, and is head of the training department for St. Mary’s. She takes a somewhat aggressive approach to training the new recruits and they begin to develop strengths and weaknesses. The recruits coalesce as a team under Max, and have a series of adventures while under research assignment. An unexpected twist in the end and a bit of tragedy thrown in. Fun read!
