The great goddess Alta creates two sister queens to rule the forces of darkness and light on Earth and challenges them to work in harmony as perfect and opposing reflections of one another. Reissue.
I really wanted to like this book. It had a great premise and lots of promise, but I just couldn’t get into it. Each chapter starts with a historical entry, or mythology entry, or archeological find written in the future about the events unfolding. It is a fun idea, but the entries were too long and screwed up the pacing around the actual story. I started not really caring who Jenna was and why she was destined for greatness.
Didn’t finish / not interested.
