Shotgun Sorceress is the fun-filled sequel to Spellbent. Jessie Shimmer continues to fight against forces that are moving against her and her friends. She is coerced into fighting a powerful succubus demon in rural Texas, and it is fun to see her outside her city element. We learn more about Jessie’s character and past, and Jessie is forced to confront some of her own demons. Shotgun Sorceress was enjoyable and quick, and just what I felt like reading at the time. I’ll definitely read the next book.
