In Frost Burned, the unthinkable happens: Adam’s werewolf pack is abducted. Mercy must race to help find them. There is plenty of conflict, both action-oriented and emotional, and it was impossible to put the book down.
I really liked the conflict generated from Adam’s and Mercy’s separation, and their struggle to cope with a difficult situation. Once the initial conflict is resolved a much bigger plot is revealed that involves the Fae, the Vampires, and the Marrok of the werewolves. I was highly entertained and continue to love Patricia Briggs’ mastery of character development and urban fantasy.
